Best Buddies hosts annual carnival

On Saturday, Feb. 25, Best Buddies held its annual carnival at LHS for friends and family in the Libertyville community. Guests enjoyed games, face-painting, inflatables and balloon animals.

On Sunday, May 19, Illinois Congressman Brad Schneider gives a speech at the 2024 Women for Brad luncheon, discussing his support for women's reproductive rights. Schneider has been very vocal of his support for women, having supported the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA) and "will always stand with Planned Parenthood," according to his political platform.

Volunteers for Feed My Starving Children pack ingredients such as rice and soy to send to children in Peru. This is one of the jobs that volunteers can do to help Feed My Starving Children besides working in the warehouse or putting labels on food packages. There are five sessions Monday through Saturday, where volunteers can help Feed My Starving Children reach their ultimate goal: getting rid of world hunger.
