The Libertyville girls soccer team faced off against Vernon Hills for senior night on Friday, May 3, beating the Cougars by a final score of 5-1. The Wildcats dominated through possession and consistent shots on goal, resulting in two goals in the first half. After halftime, Vernon Hills came back with a goal, but LHS retaliated with another three goals. Libertyville celebrated their seniors by hanging up posters of their early years as well as recognizing them at the beginning of the game.
