LHS Mask Survey Results

Early Feb. 18, all LHS students were sent a survey via email regarding their decisions to wear a mask following D128’s removal of the mask mandate. The survey had three questions: 1. Are you wearing a mask all-day today? 2. Are you planning on wearing a mask next week? 3. What factors are affecting your decisions? 431 students responded.
Out of 431 responses, the "Definitely" wearing a mask all-day option was chosen 251 times- the vast majority. This was followed by "Definitely not" (97 times), then "Probably not" (69 times), followed by "Probably" (50 times).
Students were given the option to elaborate on what factors affected their decision to wear a mask or not. 22.5% of those surveyed chose to "Definitely not" wear a mask.
