- He advocates for creating an economy for all, pushing past partisan conflicts to find solutions. He supports protecting the Affordable Care Act, Social Security and Medicare. Lastly, he believes in a women’s right to choose, a healthy environment and full equality for the LGBTQ community.

- He advocates for school safety, ending negative social discourse in Washington, investing in infrastructure and schools, empowering police departments as well as addressing the mental health crisis. With years of business experience, he hopes he can bring new light to economic issues facing constituents (inflation, cost of living and lowering taxes).

- Eric Rinehart was born to teacher parents and is now a father to two boys. After law school he worked as a civil lawyer in Chicago and then joined the Lake County Public Defender’s Office in 2003. He started his own firm in 2009 and in 2020 he won the Lake County State’s Attorney’s position.

- Rinehart believes in gun violence prevention initiatives and has also been an advocate for pushing for a Lake County Opioid Prevention Initiative. He believes in transparency and focusing on violent crime prevention. He wants to amplify the voices of the victims and he’s a proponent and supporter of the IL Safety Act.

- Mary Cole was born and raised in Deerfield to a Thailandese immigrant mother who fled communism and a father who is a resident of Lake County. She worked as a paralegal to Lake County judges and then as a public defender after graduating law school. She was sworn in as an assistant State’s Attorney under both the Nerheim and Rinehart Administration, but departed in 2021. She’s a practicing attorney in a private law firm in Gurnee.
- Policy
- She has become an advocate for victims of domestic violence, as she was once a victim herself. Mary supports law enforcement and bringing back law and order to the area. Most importantly, she wants to remove politics from the State’s Attorney’s Office and work with community leaders, non-profits, and faith-based groups to ensure a safer community. She stands against the recent legislation in IL called the Safety Act and hopes to curb gang violence.
