Boys Bowling Goes All Out Against Lake Zurich

On Nov. 12, 2024 the boys varsity bowling team faced defeat against Lake Zurich, ending with a close match of 2768-2980. At LHS, this sport brings its team together, creating lifelong friendships. “My favorite part [about bowling] is messing around with a bunch of team members together,” said Senior Andrew Schickler. Even though this match resulted in a loss, the team members are working hard and expect to win many others this season. “I love bowling,” said Schickler.

During the show-stopping number, Under the Sea, Sebastian (Junior Eva Thomas) tries to convince Ariel (Senior Wren Frey) that everything she has everything she needs, "right here, Under the Sea!" Everyone plays an important part in this number: performers, crew and pit orchestra performers. "I like what the actors are doing on stage, and I have a solo in that song, so that's pretty cool," said Junior Eli Cui, a piano player in the orchestral pit.
