Hi, my name is Jade, and I’m a senior. This is my fourth year on staff. In school, I’m in LEAF, lacrosse, and NHS. Out of school, I enjoy reading, painting, and hanging out with friends.

“It is eye opening when we all share our minds, values, and experiences with each other,” Abdelrahman conveyed. “That’s what LHS is really all about. Windows in the cafeteria and library were decorated to celebrate the week. Students decorated the school with red paint and streamers on Saturday, Oct. 23, in order to show their support for alcohol and drug awareness as well as spread the word about the event.

The main gym was closed for a second time after an inspection held on Friday, Nov. 15, where lead paint was found in specks falling from the ceiling. The closing of the gym affected many if the winter sports practices and events.
